I am looking for a pug (ideally a puppy) that needs a loving home and would be able to come to work with me...  I wonder if anyone knows of one (or maybe 2) that needs rehousing or a pup that needs a good home....  I have been in touch with some breeders and also rescue centres but unfortunately I cannot afford the high prices charged from a breeder and no needy cases have come forward as yet.... if anyone knows of a suitable Pug then please let me know... :o)

Hi Pooperchoo, you have picked a wonderful breed, but I am afraid you  may have a long wait.  last timem I heard Rescue/Welfare had several hundred names on the waiting list to home a pug in  need.  They were going to try and 'weed' the list, by finding people who were no longer interested, but there are still a lot more people wanting a pug than pugs needing homes.  Perhaps you coudl ring around some breeders and ask if you they ever rehome retired brood bitches?  Howeve,r this may be a time taking process too, when we let our bitches go it is always to friends, and we get several phone calls and email each month enquriing about getting an older pug.
bye
Gwen
