Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Bicarbonate of soda - how much?
- By Guest [gb] Date 11.10.04 09:38 UTC
Hello,

I have been advised to bathe my dogs leg in bicarbonate of soda to get rid of staining and I hoped someone would give me the quantities I need to disolve it in - ie how much soda to how much water.

Thanks

Hi,
In our dog club newsletter it mentioned using bicarb of soda as a dry shampoo - apparently you just rub the powder into the coat, and then brush it out well after.  Don't know if it works - as I haven't actually tried it on my own dogs.

When I use it I dissolve a teaspoonful in about a quarter-pint of warm water.
:)
