Hi,

We normally get a reminder card off our vets to tell us the booster is due( don't recall seeing one).

I know it is usually sometime in September but this year with one thing & another I forgot to make an appointment.

If she is a month late having it, how detrimental is this?

Also will it just be a booster or will she have to have more than one needle with being late.

thanks

I am pretty sure she will only need the routine booster. I think I was about 2 months over due and still only had the one booster. They said she was border line but would be fine.
(but thats my vet, some other vets might do things differently!!!!!)

Anything other than a routine booster and I would be asking the vet why. To me there is no justification for anything other. With companies now saying that every two years is enough just two months late is nothing.

Our 'older' girls who had previously had boosters only had the Lepto top up this year, whereas the younger ones, that have only ever had puppy jabs had to have the full booster.  My vet will only give a booster and not the full course up to 6 months late
