My sibe puppy is nearly 5 months and is already 20 1/2 inches, will he become over sized or be the correct height he has never been a thin puppy and still eats like a horse? My other Question is he looks like a agouti is ther much chance of him doing well in shows as he does tend to have a blk mask and a agouti colour coat with the blue eyes every one says his lovely and i love him because he is mine but i wondered what your thought on showing may be. Please let me know.

Well as he still has a couple of inches to grow (is it two or 3 can't remeber your height standard off hand) then I eould think he certainly is unlikely to be oversized.  At 6 months I want my #elkhounds to be a good 18 inches as they are supposed to finich up 19 1/2 for a bitch and an inch more for dog, and looking at my records my present youngster who is 20 inches tall was about 17 inches t 5 months.  Obviously sibe groth pattern may be somewaht different, but I would expect most of the height to bge reached by 9 months, after that they are filling out, and should put on more than half an inch.

Huskies can be any colour,a nd from what I have3 seen at British shows it makes no diference in the judging.  Some rather unatractive and to my eyes plain or oddly coloured sibes still do well, so I think it is the structure that is judged, and colour is irrelevatn as all colours are allowed I beleive.
