we are planning to buy a cavalier king charles spaniel my daughters are very keen. the puppy will only me home alone for a few hours a week will it be ok?

Firstly how old areyour daughters ? It is not usually recommended that u have a cav with very small children.I have a 6 month old tri bitch and she is adorable but my 2 are 11 and 14 .We've always had dogs for as long as I can remember but this is our first ever cavalier and I have never had such a smart intelligent dog.We found her very easy to train and well behaved at all times so I would say from experience that a few hours a week would be fine to leave a pup alone,ours just sleeps when we go out and so long as u leave it a toy or 2 so that it doesn't get bored u should be fine
