Make a copy and put it on your harddrive but save it as a differant file extension for example a word document if that don't work i have a copy of works that you can have i will e mail it to you if you want it.

I don't think that will work but hey I've been wrong before. :)

I think you will need "MS Works" to open it unless you get whoever saved it as a .wdb file to convert it to 'text and commas format' (csv) which you can open easily in most word processor, spreadsheet or database applications.

Thanks Marie, but I suspect that is breaking 'copywrite' ? I don't know, not very up to date on such things :o
I tried to save it as something else but that didn't work either,I just got lots of pretty patterns and squares
Guess it's back to the drawing board.

Got another suggestion you could e mail me the file in question and i could open it using my works move it over to word (if possable sometimes they are application tied meaning that works might have afeature that word hasn't) and send it back to you thats if you don't mind strangers viewing your docs.My E Mail address sent via PM

right click/go to open with /choose programme, if you have xp you should have the option to 'look for the appropiate programme on the web. Make sure you are conected to the internet and you should be taken to the appropiate website for opening any programme
