for polly 45 have you tried sliding a saucer underneath her. also the vet can prescribe drugs to help with incontinence in bitches

Thanks Pru i will try that, yes im taking her to the vets this afternoon hopefully fingers xx my vet will be able to do something for her, but she is a nine yr old boxer who in the last week has gone from a lively soul to a old dear.

Hi Polly

If you can't slide anything underneath her when she is actually "going" get some clean cotton wool and put this under where she is laying so it soaks up the urine (lay it on some clean kitchen roll).  This sometimes works.

my mum girl has kidney problems and she is on the hills kd to help control the level of protien.also the vets can flush the kidneys to give them a kick start into working better again if needed.she is now going on 12 and once her kidneys was sorted she became more her old self again,so there is hope.she is also on meds for it which has helped her and has her bloods/water check every few months to keep a update on her.
i hope your girl turns around soon it isn't nice seeing them on a down boxers aren't like that.
we had fun trying getting a sample she wouldn't do it because she knew you was going to follow but on the hole the tray advice works failing that the vets can get it if really needed.
