Has anybody have their dogs penis not retract back  and allow him to be in discomfort? sorry not sure how to word this.
If so, what did you do ?
(He hasnt been mated by the way and can think of no explanation for this)

It's not much help, but this happened to our dog a while ago, but it slipped back in after a few minutes, thankfully :)

There was a thread on this a long while ago - I can't remember what was said - perhaps it was KY jelly or something like that - I'm sure someone will tell you. How long has it been like this ?

It's an emergency lel - if it dries out it won't go back and if it's out too long the blood supply is compromised. Spray it with ice water if he will let you. If it goes back great, but if it doesn't (and you can't touch it to ease it back) get hold of a vet asap.

Had this a couple of times with various dogs. A cold wet cloth has always worked. Hope gus is OK. Just one thing after another for you Lel

Might be worth trying a bath...deep enough to cover his bits.

That happened to one of mine, I just put some KY jelly on it and helped ease it back into the sheath. You don't want it to get dried out cause you will have alot more problems :( I just made sure I had his whole part well lubricated so it would slip back in...He was a 4 month old pup that I noticed got a little carried away before I stopped him and it was out for about 15min before I got it back in :( Glad that only happened once.
