my aunt has a pup and it has an eye infection, been to the vets and he gave her some drops for it but it dont seemed to have cleared it, she is going to take him back to the vets but do any of you have any home remedys that she could treat it with as these drops dont seem to work, i read on here something about goldenseal and aloe vera or something any infomation on this would be great

Don't mess around with eyes - sight is far too precious to risk with bad treatment.

You need to clense the area around the eye to stop dirt getting in. Take some cooled boiled water and cotton wool balls and gently wipe over eye using each ball once. Go back to vets asap and explain drops havent worked so can they have another look.
