Is there a clever champdogger out there who can tell me how much sand and cement I will need to lay 100 concrete blocks?

Any advice gratefully received...

Ooohh er....?  Standard size concrete blocks 440 x 220 or something like that?  The first three courses are being put on their side.

Depends what you want to use the surface for ie vehicular traffic / driveway or patio pedestrian traffic, i would normally go for 100mm of type 1 sub base and 30mm of sand, but increase the sub base if for vehicles.  Ps dont forget to compact

Edit of course you could bed on a screed - usually 30mm of sand cement and lime in the ratio 3:2:1 on top of the sub base as above - would only do this if heavily trafficed or real drainage level problems.
