Hi,
my girlfriend and I have finaly decided that we want to get a dog. I have allways lived with dogs, but since i moved to the uk (6 years ago) i have not had a dog.
We have chosen the Standard Schnauzer breed and are looking for a bitch puppy. We are based in the North West (manchester) but can travel all over the uk.

We chose the Stand. Schnauzer, because we like the caracter and the size of the dog. I had a mini Schnauzer at one point which sadly died, so i know the breed a bit. But we wanted a bit bigger dog than a mini schnauzer, but also not to big like a doberman or vizzla (which are other options).
Any comments about the breed are welcome too. Please email/post your experience if you have/had a stand. schnauzer.
