Could someone explain to me what Green and Original days are - and can you eat veg on the original day? its not very clear and I hate reading loads of waffle :D :D :D

green basically is a diet brought in for vegatarians .you can eat pasta rice and potatoes as well as veg nuts ect.the original is meat.and most vegatables. as sin free.(eat as much as you like)
the green plan is brilliant for a change one day as you can have a change and eat as much pasta or potatoes ( with a sauce no meat ).
i did this diet and lost 2 stone in 11 weeks.(tried w.watchers 4 times i was starving after 2 weeks )
my breakfast was  (grilled ) tomatoes  scrambled eggs and about 6 pieces of bacon .
lunch 2 or 3 pieces of ww bread with ham toms .or salad.
bread is 2 and a half sins.
yogurt.2 sins
main meal .chicken veg
total 4 and a half sins
but you can have milk on no sins
and 2 portions of fruit on no sins.

they also have a recipe book .good tips in it.

Yes you can eat veg on a red (original) day but limited potatoes.  A friend of mine has been doing the slimming world diet for a yr now and has lost 6 1/2 stone.  I have tries every diet under the sun and this one works best for me.  Good luck

Chloe,

The green is termed as a pasta day but it is the carb day basically.  I think someone mentioned Nuts but they are only part of the healthy options and are not free.

Red is the protein day.  Meat meat meat.   We often have this on a Saturday as we have a cooked breakfast with the bacon and eggs, healthy options for my bread.  Then at night time We will grill a massive steak and steam loads of fresh carrots etc and fill the plate with that instead to potatoes. various fruits.

Green days can be IE.. plain cous cous , muller yogurts ,  most of the pasta and sauces packet,  Heinz super noddles ( purple packet only)  Potatoes,  Sin free chips, Fried eggs ( they are free with the pam spray) , Beans. Tons of steamed veggies. Noodles. Fruit

Homemade soup that is all veggies is free on the red or the green . If you add potatoes it is only free on the green.

It is worth asking some others in your group to swap with you your weekly food diary as sometimes you can get tips or a change from them.

I am not a veggie but I do red 6 days out of 7 as I can find loads to eat on the green.

Most days during the day I have  fruit as in loads,Whole melons ;-) cous cous and muller yogurt  , pasta n sauce. I have beans on toast a lot of the time for my supper.

I have made myself  hungry now :-))

Bought a new bike and it arrived today. :-) now just have to ride it buying it won't help on it's own ;-)
