Think most breeds have a higher entry of bitches than dogs but think that reflects the fact that more bitches are kept than dogs.

I usually find that when I have a dog puppy out, there are very few bitches being shown. Then again when I have a bitch puppy in the ring, so does everybody else.!!!!

In Aussies I thik there are more dogs as the dogs are alot more "showier" then bitches, also bitches spend most the year out of coat!!!!!

Same In Red and whites!

In beagles, there seems to be twice as many bitches being shown than dogs at the moment - typical, as I have a bitch.  Athough I think a couple of years ago it was the other way round.

I recently had an email of a papillon breeder that said that i would be better to have a dog than a bitch because the are more 'showier' in the ring that females are, is this true?
