Hey all,

We have always had bitches and in a short while we might be getting a dog. The question is can you show a dog thats "had the snip"?

you can if you get permission from the KC if he had the snip for a medical reason, if not then you can't show, well you can but you won't be placed much!

You can show a castrated dog as long as you get permission first, but why would you want to get a male to show and then spoil his chances in the ring particularly if you castrate before he is fully mature.

Yes you can. You simply write and inform the KC that the operation has been performed (the reason doesn't need to be given) and you will receive permission to show. But you are unlikely ever to be placed.

Think that is the best way, good luck and enjoy your showing.
