Any ideas of what I could get my Daughter as a Graduation present, nothing too expensive.  My Daughters' boyfriend also will be graduating too, so any ideas for him too.

Thanx

How about a really nice frame for their certificates? When my son graduated last year you could get the certificates framed professionally, but with such a huge choice of lovely frames on the market today we bought one.We also got the year of graduation t-shirt for him! bit corny but something I'm sure he will appreciate in later years, looking back on all the names of those he studied with and met.
Or maybe a small piece of jewelry to mark the occasion?

OH dear - does that mean that I'll have to buy my son a present next year :) Haven't we spent enough on his education already - I'll expect a present from him, I think :D

:) Daisy , I think the general idea is that when they graduate they will buy us a new house and a comfy retirement in years to come,my son is now 1yr into his PhD so he should eventually be 'earning' a good wage!!

That sounds good :) Mine is just starting his 4th year :( So when he graduates next year he will get a BA and a MSci - but I don't think that we'll be buying him anything :) He will probably be going on to do his PhD too - at least he will fund himself then :)

Thursday is A Level results day - if daughter passes her's with the right grades, she will be off to uni too, in a few weeks - so another to pay for :( But not as bad as my brother-in-law who had 4 boys all at uni one year :( :(

What about a kid leather lined leather jewellery roll which she can treasure for the rest of her life and will be useful when travelling; they are not terribly expensive but last a lifetime and are very classy.  Most good quality department stores carry them such as John Lewis etc...........

Re: the jewellery roll, good idea, except as she has just had her 21st she had one then! Thanx though.

We are so proud of her, she has worked a job throughout the 3 years at Uni paying her own way through the Degree - she would be a bit cross with us if we bought anything too expensive - I had thought about perhaps a voucher from a Photographer so both her & her boyfriend could have a professional picture taken when they'd like, or is that a bit 'naff'?

My sons friend came round to show us his graduation present from his parents - a rather nice Rolex!

I would be thrilled with photograph voucher as a present sweep, at least they can have it taken how they want.

Hi Sweep

This may be out your budget but what about a weekend away for them. You can get really cheap flights from Stanstead airports to Milan, Barcelona I think to most places, they could find accom there maybe pay for that themselves. My friend goes away to Milan a lot and usually pays under £30 for a flight (return) and pays about £45 for a double room for her and the OH when there.
