My dogs breath is foul even though I clean her teeth on a regular basis.  She is eight years old and her teeth are quite good and not very discoloured.   Is there anything I can give her to help with this problem.   I have approached the vet but she just advises to keep up with the regular cleaning.

You can get breath freshening biscuits

what about her other end??  when you "pick up" is it firm? or soft?  or variable?  sometimes bad breath can be a sign of digestive problems.

I have wondered if it is anything to do with her age because I feed my other dog the same food and she has no problem with her breath.....but she is only eighteen months old.    Neither of the have problems the other end!!!

Check all round your dogs mouth, gums and throat and see if there is any redness or ulcers.  If there is then please contact me.

Can't see any ulcers.....but have noticed when I clean her teeth that her gums bleed a little.
