Just returned home, been out for about 2 hours, and my eighteeen month old Tibetan Mastiff had disappeared! When I left he was in the Kitchen with his younger half brother. My Chessie (who is in season) was in a cage in the dog room. As she is in season I left the back door closed, shut the baby gate to the lobby and just to be on the safe side I pushed an old chest in front of the baby gate.
On my return youngest TM in Kitchen, older TM in the Garden! Chessie where I left her. The fact that he went over and through various obstacles and then ignored the in season Chessie is (IMO) amazing enough but to cap it all he only has three good legs, the fourth is virtually useless, he just uses it for balance.
He is getting a treat for dinner as I think this amount of determination can only be rewarded. :-)

They can be the worlds greatest escapologists, Tayo used to pull the woven bits out of the fence panels and then use brute strength to force herself through, to make the hole bigger, then the male kane just changed head first through the hole, Tibetan Mastiffs are the only breed I have ever had that make it a mission to prove you wrong when you think your arrangments at security are fool proof, luckily they only got as far as my daughters next door. Now we have horizontal 6' fenceing with trelise on the top

Geoff you will have to introduce yourself at the club show in september, would be good to put a face to the name, as I think that there are only about 3 of us with TM.s on here, oddly enough I will be the one with the Dogue de Bordeaux.
