Hi everyone, im a new poster, my name is BullBoy due to my love of all bull breeds. I am looking forward to joining in discussions with you all and hope i can offer some good knowledge of dogs to visitors, i am only 17 yrs old but in the last 4 years have studied dogs and taken a great interest in them. I live with three dogs, a red and white staffie called Bella, a fawn and black french bulldog call Mervin and a Red and White Bulldog called Delilah, in the next year i hope to convince my parents into letting me have a boxer to, something i think will be quite a hard task, we have two cats who probably wouldnt take to kindly to another rough and tumble dog, hahaha, but anyway Hello to you all

If you click on peoples names you can see their info, that will often (not always) tell you what dogs they have :)

hi bullboy just thought i'd say hi and say it doesn't matter what age you are as long as you love dogs! :) im actually 14 and i find that i am very welcome and that i have my veiws considered. Anyway i have a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier called Rosie and in eight weeks i will be getting another :D I also have a 3 and a half yr old hampster called Charlie. Anyway hope you enjoy being a member of champdogs cause you will soon be addicted to it :D

Hi Corso Girl, what are corsos like as pets beucase i have been looking at them and they look quite nice, very unique as well, i may change my mind from a boxer to a Corso, plus i hear a rumour that someone has put forward for Cane Corsos to be regisitered under the KC, is there any truth in this???

My names Diane and I have 4, tomorrow will be 5 Spanish Water Dogs, actually at the moment I do have 5, so tomorrow there will be 6 !!

I wdn't. be surprised if someone has tried to ask for acceptance of the Cane Corso, but I would think that it will be quite hard for them to get them accepted over here, only time will tell.

You certainly have a varied number of pets :d  You'll soon find that you will become addicted to this site, like me.

Hi lel, my staffie i currently have is my first actually, until i was 12 we had cavaliers so as you can imagine are dogs are very different, my cavaliers were lovely dogs, we had a tri-colour and a ruby, the tri died at 8yrs old but my ruby lasted a whoping 15 years which as many of you will know is a very good age for a ckcs

I have only been a member here for a couple of months and it is unreal as to how much I have learned while being here. I never thought I'd think of dogs in the way I do now. I always loved dogs, but I never thought I could have so much love and understanding at the same time. Champdogs is a miracle on heaven, you'll soon find out. I am also 17 years old and am owned by two Siberian huskies. My first is a red and white girl named Kieron. She is 2 years old. Her name is very unique in that I made it up myself. (actually, turns out its a real name after all, but I still claim it as my own) In my mind, "Kieron" means "Beautiful Siberain." My second husky is a black and white boy named Houdini. He is 10 months old and is Kieron's son. Houdini got his name because he was a genuine escape artist and so earned his name as such. As an 8 week old puppy, he would climb up and over a 4-foot tall pen all by himself! Even when my dad made a top for the pen, trying to prevent Houdini from getting out again, that little 8 week old puppy still found a way to get out of the pen. His littermates never tried it, even after all 6 of them sat watching their little brother escape the pen.

As you can probably guess, Siberian huskies are my favorite breed of dog. I had always dreamed of owning Siberians ever since I was very little. Two years ago for my 15th birthday, my dream came true. Years of researching the breed payed off and now I am so happy to have my huskies.

The very first moment I lived with a Siberian husky, I knew then and there I would never live another day of my life without a Siberian husky in my life.

It's taken me this long to even get on my computer. I had a very wild night. LOL.  So sorry if you thought you weren't being welcomed. You are. Very glad to have you.

I think your parents are very good to you to let you have as many animals as you do have. They're great! My parents also always let me have dogs, guinea pigs, (22 of them) parakeets, canaries, tropical fish and a horse....had horses all my life. Good parents!

I currently am old now and can decide what animals I want. (no husband) I have a 13 yr. old Labrador, Bonnie, a 4 yr. old Chihuahua girl, Chulita, a 2 yr. old Chi mix, Jose and a 1 yr. old Doberman Pincher boy, Lyric. He is turning out wonderfully and I'm sold on this breed. I love all my dogs, but there's something extra special about a Doberman...a lot of dog, what they call the Cadillac of dogs. He's extremely intelligent and willing to learn....absolutely loves and thrives on learning and pleasing. LOL.

Well it isnt really hard, my parents are both real animal lovers as well so convincing them isnt something that is particually diffcult, although i cant see them letting me have another dog, saying that our dogs arent mine personally, there family dogs obviosuly, infact it was my parents idea to get a staffie, problem is one of our cats is very sweet but gentle and i think a boxer would be a bit too OTT. Saying you have guinea pigs ive always had them to, i had 5 or so i think, although it was my dad who wanted them.

We had been looking for a new breed to start in our kennels and had looked at many,many different breeds of dog.We were always drawn back to the Mastiff type and narrowed it down to the English mastiff,when we came across a pic of 2 boerboels,then followed about a year of research and communication with all different owners and breeders from Wales to Belgium to Denmark and to South Africa.We feel we have made the right decision 100% as she is everything the breeders said she would be and more.Still love the Akitas and will always have one in my kennels but Razzy is my housegirl and companion and we will definately have more than one boerboel in our home.We have already made tentative plans to import a male from South Africa next year but it's very difficult to buy a puppy and not see it or it's parents.Even though I trust these people to a certain extent they could still send a piece of rubbish and you are stuck with it,so we shall see.our puppy's father was born in a South African jail (Pretoria) and is called Jailbird Fritz and Razina is his double,in temperament and looks.Laidback,easygoing but can turn it on when required.She is very athletic and we aim to keep her like that.Hope this helps.There is a fab website for the uk now and you can see puppy pics of her on mine,Sandra.Sorry to have bored you senseless:)

i had 2 boxers and 2 cats together all their life's.the pup soon learns,they aren't that bad with cats honest.
my cats slept in the dogs beds and the boxers where on the floor if they wasn't sharing.the cats ruled but they all lived together from babies and the cats looked at the dogs for protection with other dogs,they gave it.
cats and dogs can live together with no problems and bond like a pack.
