Hi, i have a very beautiful Alsatian. Unfortunately he has skin problems (itchy one)
I,m afraid he may soon become bald on both his sides (constsnt scratching).
I have visited many vets but in vain. Who can reallly help my dog?

If your vet has not found the problem I would opt for a second opinion, maybe a referal to a skin specialist. Has the vet done a skin scrape to determine if it is mange? Though a negative skin scrape result for sarcoptic mange does not always mean it isn't mange as just occasionally the scrape will not gather any mange mites, even if it is the problem. I would be very tempted to treat the dog with a Stronghold "drop-on" mange treatment, if it has not had a drop on flea treatment recently. If it is mange it will cure it after 2 or 3 monthly aplications and much easier with a full coated dog than to bath with insectacidal washes. Good luck.
