Lyric is one year old today. I can't believe how fast he's grown. It seems like such a short time ago, I brought home this little 9 week old black Doberboy that I could hold on my lap and carry around. I remember the worry about getting his ears right...putting the tampons in. LOL. And they turned out great.

At 85 LBS and about 28 inches to the withers, he's turning into a most handsome hunk of man and so well behaved, sweet natured and does his work that he's suppose to do. He's a goof ball, fun loving and such a sense of humor. I'm very proud of my Lyric boy. (Can't carry him or hold him on my lap anymore though)

I better bake a cake and get some ice cream so all the dogs can have a party.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR LYRIC.

Happy birthday, Lyric! I love his name! What made you decide to call him Lyric? I know what you are talking about when you say the year has gone by so fast. My Sibe boy will be one year old in October. He is my Kieron's son, so it is even harder to believe that around this time Houdini was growing in Kieron's belly. =) He was such a cute little angel. Again, congrats to Lyric for being one year old, happy birthday to him!

Thank you for such nice birthday wishes for my special, loyal friend.

I tried to think of a German boy's name that I liked but couldn't come up with one. I can think of all kinds of German girl names. That's what I really wanted to do....go with the breed's nationality. LOL. But since I couldn't think of anything, I changed course. I love music, am a musician and like a lot of musical terms....the sounds of them. I thought of Cadence, (more for a girl) Andante, Adagio, Allegro, Cresendo. But thought Lyric sounded more boyish and kind of an attention getting sound...sharp, two syllabals. So, I decided on Lyric. I have Spanish/Mexian names for the Chihuahuas, Jose and Chulita and my Lab is Bonnie. And Lyric is just a word, but now a name. LOL.

Thanks again for telling him "happy birthday." I'll pass it along.
