My, dal was 2 when we got him he did not eat dog food but cat food,because we were told it made hin sick if he ate dog food.
Eneyway we bruoght him home and  for a week we let him eat cat food. But we rellised he was really skinny so we took a look at his food bow,l and there was loads left in there. So we brught him dog food and he started eating it ,he eat it all up and from then on we always bye him dog food.But same times he is sick If you think you now what it is pleaes say.

Could be anything that isn't connected with the food.  One of mine is sick when she's eaten lots of grass, or when she's gulped her food down too quickly.  Is he bringing up her food or is it just bile?  How long after he has eaten, is he sick?  How often is he sick?  once, twice a week or less?

Occationally mine is sick from drinking too much water. When we come in, he haeds straight for it, and I think he drinks too much, and throws up, unsure whether this is normal or not, he's fine otherwise. :D

Dals have to have a low protein diet as far as im aware, my friends got one, she feeds him on Bakers Complete and something else, cant remember right now what it is, and he's now fine on that. Try him with dry food, some dogs cant handle eating meat.

Or, the food that he's being fed on could be too rich for him, does he gulp it all? My other friend has a Lab, and she cannot eat meat at all, she has to have a vegetarian diet from the vets, and she is now fit as a fidle (never understood that saying, lol)
