I live in the Republic of Ireland and I am looking for information about beagle puppies.  In general, how much does one cost?  And if I wish to purchase one from the UK, would it have to be quarantined before entering Ireland?  Also, are there any reputable beagle breeders in Ireland?  Sorry, lots of questions.

Thanks
Mary Russell

Hello Mary...........beagle pups (if you can find one !!) are selling from £700 upwards..............a show prospect could cost as much as £1000 or more!
you wont need to quarantine at all there is free access between you and England.....if you fly a pup in it has to be over 12 weeks....not sure if they ask if it goes by boat?......i sold a pup out there last year and the owners took it with them in their car on thr ferry and it was fine.
i dont know any breeders over there though i.m afraid
regards
Pauline
