Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Class transfer

When is the latest a dog can be transfered into a different class? It just says before judging in the schedule so does that mean you can transfer on the day of the show?
Thanks

OK - it is not as simple as that.

If you have made a mistake - ie entered your dog into Post Graduate instead of Limit then the dog can NOT be transferred - see August Kennel Gazette.

However, if the printer has made a mistake then you can transfer it.

What you can not do is transfer if you miss your class.

Actually if the dog is overqualified for the class then it can be transfered to Open class only.

If it is a Minor Puppy class and the dog is over age then it can go in the Puppy class, if it is in puppy but overage then it can be transfered into Junior, but otherwise if the dog is ineligible it must go in the Open class.

You will find these rules in the show schedule, Definition of classes, it is before it lists each class, and in that section it tells you what awards count as Chalenge certificates etc.
