Hi Guest, I'll recommend you have a crate for each of the dogs. Especially if you plan to crate them later on. Crates are an essential aid to house training and safety if used correctly. As there will be times when you can't watch the puppies and you will have to crate them for short periods for their own safety. You must not put your puppy in the crate as punishment as this will make your pups hate the crate. Tempt your pup into the crate using a piece of food/treat if they're food motivated or a fav toy. . When you let them out (don't let them out while they're barking/protesting but when they're quiet) praise your puppy/ give him a treat/take him out for a walk. Be careful not to overfeed. Feeding your pups in their cates will help them like it even more. Also when they're older you will need to separate them and this helps them get used to it. They will need to be separated if one of them needs vet treatment or they fight when they're older.
