i understand that Jan fennel who wrote the dog listener breeds english springers, i also believe she doesnt dock :) , does anyone know if she has a webpage???

All those dogs on there are docked

From the breed standard of the ESS:

Tail
Customarily docked.
Docked: Set low, never carried above level of back. Well feathered with lively action.
Undocked: Set low, never carried above level of back. Well feathered with lively action. In balance with the rest of the dog.

I think blondebird was responding to the original poster who believed Jan Fennel did not dock her dogs; hence her interest.

Thats right, even being blonde I know that ESS are customarily docked ;)

I saw the link to the "new breed" I have heard of this breed before but dont know much about it to be honest.

The Utanogan is not recognised in this country , it is bred to look as similar as possible to a wolf and I'm told they have very calm loving temperaments.
