thats terrible! you should ring round all the rescue centres in the local area and send them a picture if possible so they will recognise your dog if it is handed in, or picked up as a stray. If youre dog is microchipped or tatooed you should inform these authorities. also the local dog wardens and animal rescue centres. make up some posters with a clear picture if you can. I feel for you and hope you get your puppy back.
also try dog lost, they have a database of lost/stolen dogs

Inform the police, vets, local shops and pubs, pet food shops, ringcraft and training classes, dog wardens and your insurance company. Put posters, with photo, on as many post and window as you can. Phone the local radio station and tell them about it. Tell the breed club and local breeders, your breeder should be able to help with this. And I am sorry you must be distressed but on the practical side your insurance company will give you a reasonable amount to help with the cost of advertising your loss.
