I have a puppy cairn terrier and would like to hand strip her possibly for showing once old enough, Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good detailed book or a web site with good quality pictures.

I have westies and have a handstripping video by a company called AMP Productions. A friend got it for me at one of the big dog shows. Not sure if they do one for cairns or not.

I think some of the dog grooming suppliers also sell these videos (I also have a clippering video for westies that I got from Simpson's which is a dog groomer supplier).
