Hi, nor me you, only took the puppy as it was his first Champ Show and therefore the first time he had been benched and how did I do, well we managed to qualify him but that is about all. Never the less he was very well behaved except he pulls like a steam train on a lead, not surprising as he is not used to being on a lead.
How did you do?

Pups second time and managed a 3rd (only 4 there but never mind, he still qualifies for Crufts), big sister 3rd as well, mum 5th (big class) and old boy RCC, so all in all a very good day!

Well done your lot then, are you going to Leeds?

Unfortunately not - I love the venue although we have no tickets, but this years judge is not for me, so doing Bakewell open on the 4th Aug instead. Good luck if you've entered Leeds :)

LOL now I'm not going to Bakewell for the same reason, but I love the venue (if it's not raining) so we may see you some time, may even go to ringcraft.

I went yesterday...spent tuesday trimming and bathing all 4 dogs...considering 2 of them hadn't been trimmed for ALONG time and the other two where a little messy, It took me a good few hours, with only help from a friend!
Glad its over...Parents can do it next time!!! :D

Yvonne,
We went on Tuesday - hound day, and are over the moon because we've managed to qualify our young bitch. Probably sounds really daft to most people who go to crufts each year, but this will be our first time.
How did you get on today?

Its not silly at all!!!!! I have been to Crufts and done well(by my standards) the last 2 years BUT all I want now is to qualify my pup who is going to his first show in 2 weeks time.My older boy is qualified for life and my 2 year old qualified in january but I desperately want to take pup next year too!

Hi all
Well we had a reasonably successful day ( 1st in Junior and 1st in Limit) BUT the judging took ages and when we went in for the bitch challenge all the trade stands were packing up and my bitch ( who is VERY sound sensitive) got upset with all the banging and crashing that was going on around us - I wish there was a rule that the stands could not pack up until judgng had finished. As it was, our BOB only just made the group and the poor Malinois exhibitors stood NO chance of getting into the group ring. Really don't know what the point is of the group judging if the show societies won't wait untill alll the breeds are able to compete.

.

I went on Wednesday and had a good day. The bitch I had in puppy won her class, her sister in junior won her class and went Best Bitch (at 9 months old!) and their older sister won Post Grad. Two more of my breeding won Post Grad dog and a 2nd in Puppy Dog.

We went Thursday, wanted to go Wednesday for the Lhasa's just to see if any looked like my puppy's as I hae not shown Lhasa's for years, but kitchen fitter decided to arrive, we did not enter any dogs, a friend was judging so just went to look round, newfie, Av's and import, and the Mals.
