Krazyhorse here....wondering if any other Champdoggers, who use Tiscalli, are having  problems at the moment, accessing the internet?  Whenever I try to connect, the modem tries dialling but then instead of the screeching noise that I usually hear, as it connects, I'm getting an engaged sound 
Apologies for posting as a guest but I'm suffering from internet deprivation, so had to beg/steal/borrow this lap-top with AOL, to try to get some help from you clever people, to help me get back on line, but was unable to log on....something to do with cookies.
Hopefully, I'll be back on my old faithful P.C. soon as I'm struggling with this lap top  ;)

I had problem logging on through the master page no cookies were allowed so i right clicked on the message board side (yellow bit) before i clicked into the forum and saved it favourites then went back into it and it let me log on. The master menu was blocking my cookies for some reason. hth

I've just changed to Tiscali and have found no problem, but then as a new customer, I may be in the process of being lulled in to a false sense of security - or am I too cynical? :(
By the way, I'm not broadband, if that makes a difference?
(You'll have an awful lot of catching up to do on the "other" forum)

I keep getting my mails bounced back to me when i try to mail a friend on Tiscali :rolleyes:

I have the same problem with Tiscali.I just keep re-booting the PC then it will connect.If you ring up you are talking to customer services in India.How good is that?

Ive just changed to tiscali broadband and my laptop has died :(  not connected I hope.  I havent had any problems accessing my email through the internet cafe at work though :)

Oh dear - should I change again when my free month is up, I wonder? Come to think, I have not had replies to a couple of mails so I wonder if they were received even though theyve not bounced back.

Have managed, this evening, to get connected up to Internet Explorer on my own P.C. through Tiscali, but Outlook Express  seems to have gone haywire, so no access to e:mails yet .... and I can't even access them through my son's lap top   :(
Thanks to everyone that replied to my plea for help - In view of the fact that some of you are also having trouble with Tiscali, I  suspect that the problem is with the server rather than with my modem, which I had initially wondered about. 

Fillis, I'm just away to start "catching up" now  :D
