My 10 1/2 year old Taz has been limping for about 2 weeks now on his right front paw, he has just gotten worse lately...At first we thought it was because of him bouncing around like a puppy and hurt himself...He weighs 158-162 pounds I think...Now we have noticed a lump on the shoulder part, now he does have lumps (fatty lumps, had them checked before) all over his body, the vet has been keeping an eye on them as well as us. Now could this lump be growing around his muscle/tissue/tendons and cause him pain to walk? He walks as if he doesn't want to put any weight on the right foot and litterally tried to go more on his left leg so he majorly limps...We have been putting a cold compress (sand bag) on him and asprin. Rather then that he still acts normal in himself. It causes him pain to walk and get up :(

Have you not had him back to the vet if he is in obvious pain?

No I have not had him back to the vet, I said that he has just gotten worse with his limping. Planning on taking him this to go see the vet. I have phoned and she told me that the asprin is fine and more then likely it will have to be removed, but we are going to bring him in to have him looked at. Now Im worried about putting him under at his age and size...He does have his good and bad days, he has hipdysplasia and arthritis as well...My vet is pretty good with explaining things to me and I no she will let me no if it will endanger him at all...Still worried. The problem is I can't get him in till Saturday so I have her calling me back to see what else I maybe able to give him.
