There will be a Staff every year since they have been classified.

You know I have looked at this twice and still read it wrong. I thought they asked BIS rather than BOB. Must be getting old.

Did not help by missing out the BOB, but there must have been since who knows when so perhaps we need some clarification

and i am asking about BIS, i know there must be a BOB (that's me getting old lol) and i would say for about the last 10 years. i am 100% positive there has never been 1 but some1 recans there has been at least 1.
i thinks it a troll on another faurm and wanted to prove them wrong

Have a feeling that the previous winners are listed in the catalogue and they may be on the KC site somewhere but I have not looked. In my memory I do not think I can remember a Staffie in the last 10 years, but I would not put money on it,

No, there has never been a Staffie go BIS at Crufts (at least, not since 1928). The winners are all listed in the catalogue.

thanks all
i love it when i can get 1 over on a troll
well more then 1 cos this man said his bitches mother, father and grand father all went BIS at crufts, and i know there had never been 3 but was not sure if there had been 1

He must be muddled and mean Best of Breed. That would be more believable!

nope not muddled at all (unless you count the spelling mistakes) cos he said
<<my bitches mother, father and granddad was best in bread and best in show at crofts>>
this is after a comment about my pup not looking like a stafford at all, and that his dog will whipe the floor with mine lol
some ppl are just sad don't you think, and i just wanted to show that i can find things out and prove them wrong and pi** them of a little ;).
which i have big time and now the ppl are starting to name call, which i find very funny for fully grown ppl
thanks again for the help

He does not sound very grown up himself are you sure he is not 6 years old?

If he's not muddled, he's simply a twerp! Fancy claiming all that when it's so easy to prove him wrong!

the closest a stafford has come to bis at crufts, was ch belnite dark huntsman who won the group in the late eighties.

stormer is right dark huntsman won the terrier group and has to be classed as the closest to winning it.however i believe he was exported and sired hardly anything here anyway.a bull terrier did win it around 72 but is didn't have staffordshire in front of its name :-)

dark huntsman was sent to south africa not long after crufts, only to be run over by a car, soon after.
as far as i know he's never sired anything of significance.
