I sympathise, as someone who once moved into a house with a similar problem. ie a lady who kept 2 GSD's in the kitchen and scullery.
We had to take the floorboards up. The "wee" had gone right through the floorboards and soaked them sounds like your have too :( we cleaned under the floor too, not to technical minded but the bit under under the floorboards below the joist things, where the foundations are.
Under there the wee had seaped through the cracks, and we suspect other things too as it stank - I suggest buying a mask and or goggles before you do this, as the acrid smell of urine takes ages to leave your nostrels. I do wish we had. I have total sympathy with you.
The new floorboards improved the situation no end but we did leave the floor boards up so air could get underneath for about 5 days if memory serves. Thank God for concentre floors in this house.
Good luck Karen

You may have to tile this area to totally get rid of the smell if urine has seeped under the floorboards. It is the most practical flooring for dogs and doesnt retain any smells.

I don't know if this will work but Bactonature has a product that is supposed to remove smells and stains,
the website is bactonature.com

never tried it but have heard vingegar and water works although I dont think I could stand the vinegar smell.!!!!!
I would replace the boards...its not expensive and will give you a chance to look under the boards and clean there...cleaning the boards cleans the surface only, and the wee is soaked right in. I am not technically minded, but I have replaced boards in a room myself.

I would replace it too, probably the best solution in the long run.....Thats just awful, can't believe how someone can let their dogs do that :(
I had exactly the same problem when I moved into my house. When we viewed the property the smell was overwhelming.
Please dont even bother to try cleaning the floor boards, best bet is to renew the lot.
The thought of putting new carpets on wee drenched floor boards just wasn't worth it for us. Apparently the people who owned the property before us had a spaniel and boxer, neighbours have since told us that they hardly ever let the dogs out in the garden let alone take them for walks, hence the floor boards.
good luck.
