Hi,
We have a little ant problem they are coming from everywhere and we cant get rid of them, we have tried blocking cracks ie floorboards and filled in little cracks outside the house where we think they are coming in but ant spray and powder down and nothing seems to be working, we even tried peppermint oil as we were told this was good but we still have them coming in.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to what we can do to get rid of the things?
any advice appreciated

yeast, they eat it and then explode :D
Boil a kettle - locate ant holes - pour boiling water down holes
I hate the things with a vengence!!

Is this fresh yeast or dried as i have an ant farm at the moment. Also will it harm the dogs as their all over the back garden?
Hi
We had the same proble some years back, we bought stuff called Nipon from B.Q you put it in a safe place on a saucer (away from kids and pets) and they come and get it take it back to the nest and it poisons them all. It took about a week to get rid on them and worked brilliant for us.

I got so cross with them last year that I put upside down sticky tape under the door they were coming under and they stuck to it !. Cruel but it worked !.
