What(if any)are the rules regarding showing a dog which is not owned by you. Eg I wan to show our bitch but my mam is actually her registered owner, we live at the same address. I just read the little disclaimer on the entry form which says that 'All dogs must be registered at the KC in the name of the exhibitor'. Does this mean the owner has to be the exhibitor? Who is the exhibitor, the owner or the handler? I'm confused!! Help!

The owner is the exhibitor - anyone can be the handler. So your mother will be the exhibitor, and you the handler. No problem with that at all, as long as she signs the entry form.

Thanks for clearing that up, yes I always make sure she signs the form(usually at the same time as the cheque!!). Now I can just get on with showing her(the dog that is not my mam!).
