My Dog has really loose motion since this morning,  Should I starve him and is there anything else I can do?

feed him live yoghurt and also give him slippery elm food or tree barks powder to soothe the gut.

sure everyone had a different remedy but i with hold food for a day and just give arrowroot in  a little water ( like thick custard ) just a few table spoons always does the  trick here , I have started adding a little bran in my dogs food !

rather than trying to treat the symptom, it would be far more satisfactory to treat the cause instead.
