A few weeks ago I was sent some trial samples of Salmon oil by Henne pet food, it say that it has a high content of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, has anyone used this product, and if so what results have you had. I have a 3 year old pooldle that chews herself quite a lot but not to the extreme of breaking the skin, we have done everything over the last years to find a course even allergy testing, skin scrapes but they have found no cause. She doe's have tuna in oil with her meals twice a week but it has not made any difference

Has anyone used this product, with good results

If your using tinned tuna I think most of the oil is extracted before canning & sunflower oil is substituted!
Not used that brand of salmon oil, you need to make sure of the quality & buy pharmaceutical grade, but have good results when I used another one in the past.

Christine, Spain.

Both Salmon and/or Fish Body Oils are valuable sources of Omega 3s and EFAs, if you do feed it please ensure that you also give Vitamin E along with it.
