Who do you find inspirational ?

1)  Mum and Dad :d
What a wonderful couple.  They had two children my brother and myself.  We were both born with problems!  My brother unfortunately died when he was 15 and I was born with a disability where my parents were told that I would never walk.  Eventually I did start walking just before I was 3 all thanks to my parents and their friends around and about who never gave up on me !!

Whilst my brother and I were young my mum and dad were foster parents.  After my brother died my parents raised money for the Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital.

My parents have both had quite severe illnesses over the years but they never complain.  I still go to dog shows etc. with my mum and we are best friends.  Everybody in the dog world who knows my mums calls her mum no matter what their age !!

Whenever I sell my puppies my parents make the people go to their house and my mum does a buffet because people have had to come so far to pick their pups up !

Took me 30 years to leave home and go out into the big wide world on my own :d  I know that if ever anything happens I can always go back to them.  I'm at their house most days and if I don't phone my mum every day she gets worried :d

2) Nelson Mandella, goes without saying.

3)  Paul Michael Glaser and his families.  I don't know whether I could go through life with what he has had to and stay so level headed.

So come on, who do you find totally amazing in your life ??

my family who coped with the loss of my beloved brother 8 months ago;
My sis in law had just had her son four months before , and had to cope with him and 4 year old daughter, all alone, and so bravely....my mum who becomes hysterical over me getting a cold, coping so bravely with the death of her son............my middle brother having the courage to go and kiss my brother goodbye as he died, as we couldn't.....

So sorry to hear of your greif. My Grandparents are my insperation cause my nan when she was little she was born into an irish family where cause she was a girl she was looked down on. She was never aloud to go to school and was made to work on there farm and when she was old enough she ran away to England where she educated herself and got a job she then met my grandad and had 5 children all of whom were given the best. My grandad work 2 jobs and a night one and my nan worked all day and then stayed up all night to make my mom and her brothers and sister clothes. Sadly my grandad has died but will not be forgoten as the dad and grandad that worked so hard for the people he loved.
In memory of him

Hi Sarah, thanks for your sympathy....

your grandparents  sound very special, and people like that are really inspirational.  It's so nice that you appreciate them for what they did, when so many people take their roots for granted....

Thank you for your message it was really kind. Its so sad to hear of you loss and especially some one like your brother i know some people who cant stand their brothers luckly for me i get on well with all four of my older brothers. Some people joke about me being the youngest saying 'how do you cope!' but they look after me and i love them. My grandad died when i was 7 so i did nt know him very well and when i see people on the telly treating their grandad badly it make me think at least you ve got a grandad. The only good think is now i dont take my other family members for granted. Lets hope our love ones will be looking down on us and that they know that we love them and hopefully will see them when the time comes.

in memory of them both.

luv sarah

So sorry to hear about your families awful time.  It's the hardest thing ever for a parent to lose a child.  I was only young when my brother died and it took me 30 years to leave home, my parents are very protective of me.  Even now I have to phone my mum when I leave her house and get back to mine so that she knows I've arrived home safely and I have to phone her every day.

I'm certain that Ian, my brother, is there for me at times, even now as I type this I feel he's here with me :d  He was a wonderful lad.

Take care and I send all my love to you and your family.

thankyou very much perrodeagua. I'm glad you can feel Ian around you, and I wish with all my heart that  I could feel David  around me....I sometimes think that I can sense him , but then think it's only wishful thinking. And you're right , it's broken my heart and that will never heal, but for my mother it must be worse...my sincere warmest thoughts for your lost one. why do the good ones get taken so tragically?

The night that my grandad died my mom went out into our garden, and she not the most spiritual person, but she said that she could feel my grandad there with her. Like you Bobo i kinda wish that i could feel my grandad but i have all the good memories of him in my heart.
