We took our pup in for a check up at the vets this morning (as we brought him home late friday night) - since we got him he hasn't been eating much, he had his first set of injections at 6.5 weeks old - 5 days after that he started to go off his food (this was 5 days before we collected him) He had Panacur worming powder for the three days before we collected him as it was thought to be this that put him off his food as he was reluctant to east anything with the wormer in it. However the vets have said that he may be anaemic as his gums are quite a bit paler than they should be - he is also slightly underweight (due to not eating), but his temperature is okay (102). They have kept him in whilst they X-ray him and run some blood tests :( His motions are normal - slightly loose but not too much - I was wondering if anyone knew anything about anaemia in young pups (he's just over 8 weeks old). I'm very worried, the vets have said they'll call me this afternoon with any findings :(
