Tara came in to season today and Grace is only 4.5 months old, i know that a bitch in season can bring another 1 in that is due, im not exspectiong Grace in to season until she is about 7 months (that is what i was told her mother was) so will Tara bring Grace in to season?
i know when there older they might get there sesaons at the same time (well im hopping) but have never had a older bitch and a bitch pup before.

any ideas

She will not come in until she is mature enough, so if she is mature she may well, if she is not then she wont. Not much help I know, but if she does then watch the situation carefully because if you are going to get bitch on bitch aggression it is sure to start when they both come into season.

No it won't bring her in unless she is pretty close to being due, recently I had 3 in season at once, but one of my girls still hasn't, she's now overdue...........I must have been lucky, I didn't have any bitch on bitch aggression, just my sisters neutered dog had a lot to put up with......:-)

thanks both, i dont think that she will bring he in but had to ask just in case cos being her first season i dont know when she would be due (if you know what i mean).
i have had a few bitches in season together before and have been lucky so far with aggression, the only thing that was hard work was the constants humpinglol
