Has anyone else entered and got their passes? I just noticed this morning that mine are dated for last years show and as I can't phone the secretary until tomorrow wondered whether this was a deliberate mistake? Got them about 2 weeks ago, can't believe I didn't notice earlier!

I didn't enter, I am afraid, as it is straight after 2 days at Leeds, and could only have put my lot in NSC anyway. However, a friend is calling round today whose partner lives in Scarborough, and usually enters this show, so will check and post again.
bye

It ok, I spoke to the secretary yesterday and it was a printing error. Some have last years date and some are dated this year but the men on the gate will be told so it shouldn't be a problem.

Judging starts at 10am and the proposed order of judging is as follows:
Ring 1-Gundogs in schedule order(GRs first)
Ring 2-Doberman, Great Dane, Pem.Corgi, Boxer
Ring 3-Rough Collie, BC, Sheltie, Bearded Collie, AV Working, AV Pastoral
Ring 4-Utility and toys in schedule order(starts with Lhasas)
Ring 5-Terriers
Ring 6-Whippet, Beagle, Afghan, AV Dachs, AV Hound
Combined Rings for varieties(thats us!), Best in show and Best pup in show.
Hope you can make it, look out for me with our little vizsla bitch, it will only be her second open show so not expecting much apart from to enjoy ourselves!

Thank Emily, I'll certainly look for you. We are staying in Ampleforth and I am presuming that the show will not be too far away? (we are visiting so don't know the area too well). Is it easy to find?

I have never been there before but I expect it will be sign posted, but sometimes they are so damn small its hard to see them when it's only you and the dog in the car, it's not like they can keep an eye open for you!!
Lets hope for good weather, no mind if it rains but a summer show should technically have a bit of sunshine! Oh, forgot we're in Britain aren't we?!!!

Ha, the weather. Last open show we went to we had to take cover indoors. All the labs stood steadfast outdoors, but eventually the mud was getting a bit deep for the yorkies and the Cavalliers etc, so we had to go indoors. My friend has old English Sheepdogs and it takes 10 hours of grooming, so she hates outdoor venues, but the dogs have wet weather kit!!!

We are only visiting the area, so we shall do a lot of stopping and asking. It will be me, my two dog mad daughters and our two dogs. I'll keep a look out for you.
