Anyone going to Longridge tomorrow?
Do you mean the Agricultural show, Goosnargh? If so, yes, but not entered. I am taking my black and tan Griff puppy for a look round.

Yes thats the one is it a good show?
I've never been able to show there, until this year I have always been working. I meant to enter this year but forgot. My friends say it is great fun and being an agricultural show you have plenty to look round as well as the dog show. Also, you can take unentered dogs which is why I am taking the pup.
What do you have? I will look out for you.

Hi Joan didn't get to meet you today, ended up taking to the car due to the weather that wasn't until after I had got soaked. Did your pup do okay having a look around? Really pity it rained, after getting soaked ended up looking in the craft tent then heading home.
Always feel so sorry for the organisers of these events when the day is marred by wet weather.

I did meet Joan there today - hello again Joan! Yes, gosh, wasn't it wet? The rain started hammering down just before we were due to go in the ring. My shoes proved themselves unreliable and I fell on my backside in the ring - no harm done at all (I was already soaked), but my fellow exhibitors thought it was funny! I still really enjoyed the show, despite the rain. It's got such a good atmosphere, and I love visiting the rare breed sheep. Shall definitely go again next year, come rain or shine.

MY shoes were also very unreliable, in fact I think my feet are just beginning to thaw out now, must admit I did not enjoy driving back up the M6 with wet feet (didn't have the sense to pop a spare pair into the car). I would have loved to have had a look around the shires, there was some lovely ones. Hope more people turned out later in the afternoon for them. When you think about it how many sane people would kneel down in the middle of a wet field in the rain all to win a piece of cardboard / ribbon :D Oh the joys of dog shows.
Yes, good to meet you today. We stayed until about 4pm, the weather wasn't too bad in the afternoon although we had the odd shower. I'd brought some shoes but ended up spending the day in wellies. I hope you have dried off by now.........

I did watch the end of the Dobe judging but didn't know which you were. Sorry.
Yes, the pup had a wonderful time and made many friends.
