Viewed a litter this evening and the pup we have chosen is the biggest of the litter.  He is an English Springer and is very thick set. We are looking purely for a pet, not to show or stud. Is there any health problems related to this?

Thanks Jill

As long as both parents are good healthy breed examples and both have had all neccessary health tests that the breed requires...and you have seen the certificates to prove this...the fact that your pup is the biggest is not a problem
