I am moving from a flat into a large house, so I now have the opportunity to have a dog. I have had experience with German Shepherds before, as has my partner, and we have really taken our time to get into a situation where we can give a dog a good home. I would really love a long haired german shepherd, and wondered if anyone could recommend a reputable breeder in my area (South East - Surrey and surrounding area). I have done some internet searches and most breeders seem to specialise in short coats, so any help would be appreciated.

Visit the White & Long Coat Shepherd Society website at www.walcss.co.uk You will find the contact details on there for the club secretary who may be able to tell you of reputable breeders within your area.  I must add that you are limiting yourself to a small area to find the ideal dog.  You must be willing to travel for the right dog and to find good breeders that do all the relevant health checks needed for the breed.
