we have recently looked at a lovely puppy but she has some black on her nose and some pink that looks patchy. She is seven weeks old at the moment and the breeder wants £500 for her. I have only seen bichons with that lovely black nose is this normal in a bichon puppy as the rest of the litter were black and if not should we be paying less? please help as we will need to make our minds up soon as she is due to be taken home in a week or two.

We have a 20 week old Bichon, his nose is completely black. I do know other dogs that have a patchy colour and this hasn't gone as yet ( over 1year old). I think I would be asking for reduction. Are you planning to show as this will be classed as a fault. If not you need to look at other factors like temprement etc. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
