Topic Dog Boards / Health / Where to get vitamin E rub

Hello
My girl was mated and was due to whelp around this time, a scan showed no pups and knowing her I can say that she is not going to have pups.  She developed two bald patches on her thigh and someone said that it is caused by a hormone imbalance, they have also suggested that I rub vitamin E into my girls coat where she has the bald patches as this will encourage coat growth.
Does anyone know where you can get this vitamin E rub and has it worked for anyone else.

Regards
Joan

I may be wrong but I think you just pierce a Vit E capsule and rub the oil in. I've done that for my skin

Better off feeding her Vitamin E. Get the natural stuff D-alpha-tocopherol, the synthetic is dl-alpha-tocopherol; feed 200 - 400 iu per day.
