I have tried various dog foods for my 9mth old SBT, but he doesn't seem that interested in any. Currently trying him on Burns, Brown rice and chicken which he seemed to enjoy for a couple of days, then decided to go off that too.
Does anyone have any similar problems?

He is not interested as he is waiting for you to produce something novel each day which you are obligingly doing :D
Choose a food, stick it down, if it is not eaten in 15 minutes at the most, remove and give NOTHING until next meal; hunger is a wonderful motivator. No dog starved itself to death. You will find after three days or so it will LOVE whatever is there; carnivores are built to gorge and starve; as long as he is drinking there is no problem.
These are animals that lick their bums, eat poop and other disgusting things, they are hardly going to get sniffy over what is in their bowl.
Repeat to yourself the following mantra "When my dog pays all the bills, it can tell me what it wants for breakfast......................." :D

Gus also SBT was on Hills which he ate but was then changed to royal canin which he liked better. Libby (SBT pup) wouldnt eat Burns Mini Bites at all.
Both are now on fresh meat and veggies and wolf it down :)
Hi, although my boys would eat their Nutro, they never particularly seemed to wolf it down or be overly excited by it. Thats when I started to reduce the amount of Nutro they got and substitute it with a 1/4 of a packet of Naturediet mixed through it-and now their dinner is gone within seconds and the bowls are always clean! Additionally, I am intending to swap them over to Burns, once I've got through the rest of the bags of Nutro-the result of buying in bulk! :D
I agree with Tohme, he'll eat it eventually! I fed both my staffs on burns for about a year but now also give them 1lb of tripe a day as they were beginning to look 'leggy'. They look fantastic now, and I would never consider not giving my dogs tripe. Its a bit smelly but def. worth it! :)
