Oh gosh you must feel really nervous.  I would ring up and/or send a little note to the effect of ......................

Dear Mrs Bloggs, just a quick follow up to my successful interview of the xx April to double check my starting date/time and to whom should I report blah blah

10-1 the post office have lost it, she told you you had the job just do as Tohme suggests and drop them a line.

Sure just a "mix up" Karen

Yes, I agree with the others, get in touch with the lady.  She'll be pleased that you are so keen, and even if she hasn't yet sent the letter, she'll be impressed with your motivation and sense of responsibility.

Good luck when you start :)

I do feel for you as this happened to me with my new job too. Delays in getting formal offer letters out of personnel are so nerve wracking but at least she gave you a result - I had t wait 4 weeks to get any kind of indication. You are the best person for this job, whats for you will not go by you as we say up here, so dont worry. :)

If your LEA are anything like ours, you will have started the job BEFORE you get the confirmatiom.  Give them a ring just to put your mind at rest!
