Topic Dog Boards / Health / Hot Spots in Newfies
- By brendz10 [ie] Date 29.06.04 04:20 UTC
My Newf suffers from hot spots regularly and we give her rock sulphur which is good for cooling the blood.
We also have two 7 mth  old Border Collie pups who love to steal her stick of sulphur and eat it,so she doesn't really benefit from it.
Does anyone know if this comes in liquid form

Thanks
Brenda

This probably sounds stupid, but could someone explain "hot spots" please.

Rock sulphur can be bought from pet shops.
:)

Could you crush a little (a very little!) and add it to the water?
