I have a 10wk old Cocker Spaniel pup. all is going well apart from he has a habit of growling, not all the time, only if i tell him to get to get out the bed room he runs to the side of my bed, when i go to pick him up he backs into corner and growls? will this get worse? and how do i stop it now? and when i tell him off he growls at me too. Aprt from that hes a cute as can be!

I would suggest coaxing him to call him to you , rather than chasing him .
He will percieve this as either threatening behaviour on your part or as part of a game.
try to coax him to you and when he does come reward and lots of praise :)
It wont happen overnight but be consisitent and dont lose patience
