I just wondered guys,

Now the footie is over for England will you still being flying the St George off your car windows etc.  My wife is keen to keep flying it from the car for as long as the flag lasts.  Will you fly and let your flag die??

There are very few flags flying around here. :( I have seen several in the gutter . So much for patriotism, eh? The country's still here, after all ...

The flags were support for the football team - they're out now so the flags should be put away until the next time :)

So the fact that Tim Henman is playing for England (okay, in tennis, not association football) means nothing?

lots of flags about here. Im all for flying the flags just for those people who thought they could tell us not to fly our flag :) hopefuly it will become a regular thing getting the national pride out a little more . Its been nice to see familys with the flags on there cars shows its not just about footy hooligans :D
I agree the flags not just about football . we have the tennis then the olympics after

Are England competing in the Olympics or is it Great Britain?

My Wife agrees with 'Lovelyladys' sentiments down to the word.  I'm South African and I have my countries flag sticker on the car also.  My country is not in any sport at the moment that I'm aware of..........does that mean I can't fly my countrys flag.........Nope!!  So fly your flags and be proud.  The yanks fly theirs all the time.  And, do you really need to be in a Sporting event to be aloud to fly it?  Thats the way most English seem to think.

Henny :-)
